This was filmed in my hometown and at the liquor store i work at and it's pretty damn hilarious. the song is also from a local guy too, obviously.  pretty sure you will enjoy it. my man is the one in the in all the gear: coat, glasses, bed. don't worry the birds are my friends and the bed spread was an anniversary present from me to him. good job boys red and yellaw!

on other news i have been trying to finish up school. it's final time so i have been deep in the books. also, i put up my christmas tree and it makes me so incredibly happy i can't handle it sometimes. I'm a huge sucker for the holidays. i think i have already watched Elf about 15 times. i hope your thanksgiving was fantastic and tasty. oh one more thing, i made pumpkin bread from scratch for the first time in in came out amazing. never really thought i was much of a baker but guess i was wrong.

oh and we all celebrated Melanie's big 24. it consisted of vodka and tonics, pomegranate martinis, balloon hats shaped like slices a cake, and a late night burrito run. i love her so much, plus she makes my most legit mix season inspired cds ever. really, she should be paid to do this.

Chilly and Chili

 The days have turned much colder. I'm not complaining i have always loved layering up. This weekend i have quite a to do list. Working my doubles at the liquor store and Bar tending at Blue Koi. i have a huge economics test to study for. also on sunday i'm treating my brother to  a sushi dinner for his birthday. the poor guy has never tried sushi! after all this busyness sunday night i plan on settling down with my books and cooking up a big old crock pot of chili. this weather has me craving it, and what is so fantastic about chili is that it freezes well. ill have enough for the whole season if i plan it right. i hope you all have a lovely weekend! go take a walk and enjoy this beautiful fall!

Last night my roommate Melanie was enjoying some time on the porch when a little male puppy ran up to her. he wasn't wearing a collar just a Harley Davidson sweater. so cute right?  we decided to call him Larry Gaga and have hung fliers up all around since then. he is so adorable but, a puppy and a handful. I'm so thankful that Taco gets along with him. she can be pretty bossy, but they became quick friends. i hope we find Larry's family. I'm positive they are missing him very much. 

On other news tonight is date night. I will be cooking up some baked tilapia, mashed potatoes, and steamed cheesy vegetables. my mouth is already watering thinking about it. Max and i started Shutter Island the other night but were far to sleepy to finish it, so tonight we will. then off to Czar Bar to celebrate Doug Fresh's Birthday. Joseph is running the Thrashin' Tuesdays! with some good jams and and the premier of throwback Toys Video. there will be lots of dancing and $2 drinks. all the friends will be there. might end up getting a little out of hand but, thats how we like it. Giving Thanks.

Thanksgiving is hands down my favorite holiday of the year. i do have a  soft spot for the fourth of july but, it was always missing something...the food! i enjoy nothing more then loading my plate up with turkey and sides, plopping down on the sofa next to family and loved ones,and digging in. This year i will be on a mini vacation Thanksgiving. i decided to spend time with Max's family who are all absolutely fabulous. i cannot wait to meet all the others. i just want to be in a big room of love with a full belly and my man. i'm so excited i wish it would hurry up and get here already! what are your plans Thanksgiving? i was thinking about bringing a dish. i usually just show up with wine but, it's time to be an adult and cook something up. any ideas????
